The Osceola/SMC Chamber of Commerce has joined up to be a community Wellness Leader for the Biggest Loser Community Challenge, and we encourage you to participate!The Challenge is designed to get America moving more, eating better and having fun! It is not a weight loss challenge. This online wellness competition helps individuals reach their health goals by focusing on motivation, activity and nutrition (however, side effects may include weight loss!).

Local incentives include discounted membership at Osceola Parks and Recreation Community Center and Osceola Fitness for participating team members during the program period!

The Biggest Loser Community Challenge combines video-rich content, cutting edge interactive tools and celebrity motivation to engage participants in fun and healthy activity. Companies across the country will be competing for exciting prizes, while participating in this 8-week, nation-wide health and wellness online challenge!Companies Register Teams of 4 for $100 per team, and there is no limit to the amount of teams a company can register. Teams Compete For Prizes Each Week, with over 10,000 being awarded!

 

Challenge includes:

● Health and Wellness Guidance
● Motivation from past contestants

Points are awarded for logging healthy challenge activities, including
● Completing weekly challenge task
● Updating weight once/week (privately)
● Updating motivation once/week
● Logging servings of fruit/vegetables each day
● Logging cups of water each day
● Logging minutes of activity each day
